File Extension RSS

Hi people, continuing our posts about file extension, today we will talk aboute the File Extension RSS.

This file extension was developed from .rdf extension that is used for sharing news.

File extension RSS is used by a lot of entities: Invarion Pty PlanMan, Realisoft BlockSim, Rockwell Logix 500 SLC-5 and Symbion OS (used in palm tops), but, most of the time, the .rss files are used for rapid streaming updates, news and information, called RSS-Feed.

The RSS-Feed is a useful subscription process to achieving immediate access to Web content, that can be syndicated automatically with the RSS-Feeds: published once and viewed by many.
